Transmissions issue, or clutch?

I have an 03 MG ZS. It's had a weird, loud creaking noise over bumps, when steering for a while, but only when warm. When I parked it last week, it refused to move afterwards. The clutch appears to disengage/engage, and it changes gear fine. When I release the clutch I can hear the plates spin, but there is no movement.

Does anyone have any ideas what this might be?
