MG6 Remap, 195bhp

So we recently had a remap thread that went south and wound up getting deleted....so I thought id create a new one.



Can we try and keep this civil please gents?



A UK company (im sure someone will remind me who) are proposing that they can utilise a Chinese company that have developed a remap for the MG6, taking it to around 195bhp.



A South African comapny (RGM) has already done this but by modifying the exhaust, utilising a de-cat and a piggyback chip.





A Chinese company has remap available in China.





So the question is, whats the catch?



Well, myself and other users mentioned potential gearbox issues as well as the suitability of a Chinese developed map for a UK specification car (emissions / hardware differences maybe?) as well as different quality of fuel.
