Problems with MGF radiator leak and water pressure

Hi all!

I've recently been given a 1999 MGf. It's done 88500 miles and had it's head gasket done at 88000. I was given it with a blown water pipe. The pipe blew on the way home from the 'surgery.'

It has been sat doing nothing for a good 7 months until it was given to me to try and fix up and use.

HOWEVER, when I finally got around to changing the pipe, I blead the water back through the radiator, bought it up to temp and all of a sudden the water tank decided it didn't want the water anymore and threw it all out.

After closer inspection the radiator at the front leaks rather a lot. I don't know if this has happened since I changed the pipe or it was an existing problem.

The car ticks over fine and sounds fairly healthy until it throws a hissy fit with the water inside it.

My question is, fix or scrap? Do I spend the money fixing the radiator? Or I does it sound like the head has totally gone? There is no immulsified oil and no oil in the water tank but it's an expensive risk.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks guys
