Time to go....

well , that time has come .

My R25 was bought new by my Dad .

I had her off him 6 years later.

I heard about a group meet at the p Wed Cosford air museum.

There I met a group of really nice people who enjoyed driving Rovers..."Mad" , "Dakta" , "Wingy 777" , "Donny Diesel"..but to name a few...iconic figures in my mind tbh.

I modded the R25 over a number of years..went to a couple of RR sessions , and again met more like minded individuals which was nice tbh.

I've managed to embarrass a few cars over the years, whilst driving a stock(ish) looking 4 door R25, which in my mind is a big part of the fun!

Hopefully she's getting sold on Friday.

I could have stripped her and made more cash tbh, but I didn't want her to end her days in such a fashion.

I gave my 17 yr old son a go today on a local disused length of road...3 generations have now driven my R25..a nice farewell touch methinks!

I went from a Scooby to the R25 , now I'm back to petrol again..mk 1 cupra R.

Take care everyone..i will miss my baby...



Smash the 200 bhp barrier somebody please!!!(although I reckon it'd be a handful lol)
