2001 rover 45 diesel clutch bleed

hi there folks. my clutch failed on me today and after investigation i found that the connection between the master and slave cylinder was weeping. i pulled it apart and it looks like theres an o ring half hanging out of one of the connections. ive ordered a brand new slave and master cylinder which i will fit tomorrow. now heres the question, will it need bleeding? i think ive read that its a sealed unit so does that mean i just connect them up and im ready to rock and roll or do i have to add my own fluid and bleed it?
