head gasket problem

I am looking to buy a petrol 45 but i am concerned about what i hera about the head gasket problems. I am looking at models between 2003 and 2006 . When did the problem head be modified any advise greatly received . I would be doing city driving so worried about head problem but i like this rover. Just want to make right decision
