Rover 45 diesel clutch problems - 3rd, 5th

Hi all



When my 2001 45 has warmed up a bit eg. motorway driving, I have occasional trouble getting into 3rd and 5th. It seems to go halfway in, and if I let the clutch out there is a nasty noise and I'm back in neutral. Pump the clutch again and I can get it in gear. It's becoming a problem at and after those roundabouts on the A3!



Issue is gradually becoming more frequent I think



Is this a linkage issue, or is this more a gearbox issue?
