Broken replacement window wiper mechanism!

I replaced the wiper arm mechanism on my TF in October last year. Two weeks ago it separated again!



Anyone had a similar problem? I believed that the new fitting meant that the problem of the ball joint popping off was eradicated because of the better fit and the materials used!!
