Head Scratching Electrical Problem

Hi



Last night and again today, when I remove the key from the ignition two things happen that shouldn't.

1. The wipers front and rear start operating (car is a ZT-T)



2. The key fob won't lock the car.



I've done a bit of research on the site here and have checked the plenums....dry as a bone. I know that I probably have some water in the load space as the radio is playing up a bit. But why should this...or indeed could this be the cause of my problem with the wipers etc...?



I am now at a loss. I have done the clutch and timing belts myself but this...!!!

Doing my head in.



Any help?
