heater exchange continued

Right just spoke to the guy who sold me the exchange he said I'm better of putting 1t connection on before the heater and one on the outlet pipe from the heater? So im not taking the full load of coolent into the exchange its split between the two so i dont take to much heat away from the coolent and having the run like that ........ personaly I was going to cut the pipe off the rail to the right of the engine and put a new silicone one to the exchange then to where the original pipe connected on the t if that makes sence rather then installing 2 t junctions I was going for just one long bit of pipe with the exchange in the middle what are you thoughts guys??? I'm worried if the exchange is higher with a t junction facing up the coolent won't rise up to the exchange but it's a presurized system so would it matter??
