Immobiliser argh!

Hi Guys,



I went out into the car tonight to pick up the girlfriend from a party and my car wouldnt start. I havent been out in it for about 5 days now.



I put the key in, turned the ignition and all the dashboard lights went on but nothing. I tried several times but still nothing. When I am sitting in the car and use the fob to lock and unlock the doors I hear a ticking noise coming from the dashboard. Strangely enough in some cases when pressing the unlock button it doesnt actually unlock the doors.



I have searched several forums but no idea what to do. I dont think it can be the battery as everything works at ignition level 2. The lights, windows, heater all work fine.



I am stumped and tomorrow (technically today) is christmas eve and I cant get the car to work :(
