MGTF tyres

My wife has an MGTF with 15in wheels which she loves to bits but it will shortly be needing new tyres. She drives within the speed limits and really doesn't need the V speed rating but for insurance purposes I will stick to 185/55 R15 V 82 on the front and 205/50 R15 V 86 on the back. I wanted to stick to readily available brands and would have liked the Goodyear Efficientgrip which are rated as a C and A for efficiency and braking in the wet but they are not available for the rear wheels.

Others I have looked at with a view to keeping the same brand back and front are Avon ZV5 which are both competitively priced and attract C for both efficiency and braking, Bridgestone RE02 which I can get at Costco for a good price, Dunlop Bluresponse and Fastresponse, Continental Premium Contact 2 and Michelin which are expensive, not the best grip but have a hard rubber that outlasts the rest.

Should I just run different brands back and front - maybe Goodyear front and, say BfGoorich rear? Insurance aside, how much difference would it really be if the rears were 205/55 R15 V 86 - maybe just a little more understeer ?. Any views would be appreciated.
