Rear speakers in rover 25

Hi

Got a rover 25 with factory fitted cd player and speakers find the

sound a bit flat so was thinking of installing some rear speakers

in the rear parcel shelf as there is space there so am hopping the wiring

will also be present. Will this improve the sound I am not looking to blow

my head off at present its not very good at all any ideas ???
