Would anyone be interested in my TD04+adaptor plates?
Been thinking about this for a while now, and just testing the water here to see if anyone is interested.
I'm thinking of fitting a turbo that's a bit better than the TD04, as I estimate it to be capable of 175-180 bhp but I will eventually be aiming to make nearer to 200bhp, so if someone wants to buy this then I'll go straight in with a bigger turbo instead of doing it twice.
You will get:
Fully reconditioned TD04 turbo (not used yet, so basically brand new)
Manifold adaptor plates and fittings (studs/bolts, all 8.8 grade)
Exhaust flange (for downpipe)
You will need:
A custom downpipe
Bracket for the wastegate actuator which I have not got round to making
Here is a pic before the compressor housing was clocked, it now sits roughly in the same position as the standard turbo but may need slight adjustments (easy if you've got circlip pliers).
I am told the standard oil feed and drain are a straight fit, so aside from the wastegate bracket it is ready to bolt onto the car and then either take it to an exhaust shop to get a downpipe made or make one yourself if you have the tools and materials.
I have done quite a bit of research into this turbo and I'd say it is capable of up to 175-180bhp or there abouts with the correct supporting mods.
