Blinking ABS light

My ZS180 ABS light blinks and the brake warning light stays lit when starting and driving off, when I get to about 20mphish the lights go off and everythings fine.



ABS works ok, my mechanic plugged in his fault code reader today and the only code was for the warning light on. Reset the codes and within 5 yards the light started blinking again but went out as I got up to speed.

My mechanic said it looked like a blink code as there sort of looks like a pattern to the blinks. He did go on to say that this system doesn't use blink codes, which is the strange thing.



Front reluctor rings were changed a year ago (no light came on for those). Fluid level is on max and the brake lights work.



Any ideas?

I am hopefully going to check the resistances of the front wheel sensors from the plugs under the bonnet?
