Hi, another MG newbie
Just thought I'd say hi in here.
Bit of a story to how I ended up with the ZS, so here goes...
Friend of mine had a 1.4 3 door ZR, he got a job in France for 5 months and as he knew I was looking for a smallish car to run he kindly said I can use his whilst he's away, saves him having to sell it and then find another car in 5 months when he gets back. Great we both thought, until the night before he was going to drop it off a drunk driver crashed into whilst it was parked and wrote it off!
So my search started again for a car, I was looking for something smallish like a fiesta but they all seemed to be going for silly money as everyone wants a cheap runaround. I widened my search to include up to 1.6 engines and that's when I found the ZS on eBay and put quite a low bid on it and then just left it, 2 days later the auction ended and I had won it with a bid of just £220!!!!!
Absolute bargain price!
Ok so a 10 year old car for £220 is going to have issues isn't it? Well yes it does, these include
Dented in rear quarter, dent on the front wing, bit of damage/wear to the drivers seat, missing any service history, missing spare wheel, milky headlights, broken rear light and broken alarm fobs but it did have 8 months mot.
