Idle and stalling problem

Hello all. I have had an intermittent problem with the TF for a few weeks, namely engine cutting out when coasting up to roundabouts etc. on the way home today it did the same then when I stopped I noticed the engine has a different tone as well as the Rev counter jumping around as it won't idle at a steady pace. Also it is difficult to start and when I at last do get underway it jolts and kangaroos. The Lambda sensor was changed fairly recently. It used to be intermittent but now something has obviously let go, and I'm not sure I'll make it to work tomorrow.
