Insurance renewal.......beware.

Received a renewal letter earlier in the week and noticed it was on auto renewal which I had not spotted in the small print last year. Anyhow, stopped that, shopped around and went back to the broker with the news that if they knocked 22% off and changed the voluntary xs to 0, I would go with them. They did! Same insurer, same policy etc but saved over £60! Am pretty happy now but why do brokers think they can get away with it? Yes, I know, because they do! Beware.
