mg zr diesel pump

hi, just did over 1200 miles in the zed in 5 days, beautiful drive but for the last 400 on the motorway the steering would go light then heavy if i went over 70mph,,,



i thought it was a tyre or buckled alloy etc,



i checked the tyre pressures,alloy wheel weights,pas fluid and it was okay,



but i think a bearing has gone on the pas pump pulley causing it to fail at high load,



can you replace these on the pump or is it easier getting a new pump?
