mg zt wont start help
hi new to the forum so apologise if i havent searched properly.
car is mg zt 1.8 120 55 plate
ill start from begining my exhaust snapped at the rear of back box on wednesday still ran and still started ok ish
on friday went to tie up the dangling bit of exhaust ready for taking to get new back box fitted on saturday also had a go at trying to remove old backbox with a bit of banging about but couldnt so finished off tying exhaust up and went in [car started b4 all of this]
on sat morning car would not start it turns over but no fire, checked fuelpump filter to see if i may have knocked it loose but that looked fine and all felt tight
something else that may help diagnose i had it plugged into a machine [wasnt a t4 though] and it came up camshaft position sensor [new one being ordered] and misfire due to low fuel
there is also a funny hard to describe ticking noise after being turned over sounds like its coming from in the black box that says injector on it
also there is a constant buzzing noise after key in on position which carrys on for a few minutes even after car been locked up. [ticking noise doesnt stops once key removed]
is it a coincidence that car wont start after messing with exhaust what else could it be charged the battery overnight made no difference
can someone please try and point me in the right direction i dont know any decent mechanics or if any 1 lives in the sutton in ashfield nottinghamshire area and would be kind enough 2 come and have a quick look
