Crunching noise

Guys, yesterday evening I accelerated under load when the traffic light went green. I don't useualy but well sometime you just have to! :)



Anyway, when I did I got a scare....I heard a rather loud crunching noise behind me. Sort of like cogs jumping. On a quiet stretch of road I tried different accelerations and I only get it under heavy acceleration. Normal and a bit faster is okay and when driving and shifting down and putting my foot down its also just fine. It's only from standstill.



As I said I don't do this often so I don't know how long it might have been there already. Over the last two months I changed the tyres, cam belt and water pump and cooling pipes. Also last week I fitted a Daytona back box.



So has anyone of you got an idea?
