Highline Issues (MGZT-T...2004)
Hi
I have sustained water damage (common problem) to the ICE units in the load space of my ZT-T, so much so that all but one speaker blew! I have upgraded the speakers to MB Quarts (Comps in the front and Co-Ax's in the rear) and I have changed the module to a Becker BM24 unit.
Interesting issue has arisen. The speakers are great on the CD and Tape but on the Radio there seems to be what I can only describe as a ''warm up'' period on some of the FM stations...mainly those with mainly voice. Radio 2 and 4 are particularly bad, sounding ''tinny'' and ''thin''. This continues for a few minutes and then reverts to ''normal''. The AM signal is fine. This happens every time I switch the radio on. The aerial connection to the BM24 seems good.
Scratching my head a bit on this one so any pointers would be great.
Thanks.
