Lower balljoint rubber boot replacement in situ?
Changed a cv joint today on my Rover 416. Had a lot of trouble releasing the lower arm from its ball joint - freed it eventually, but managed to split the little rubber dust boot covering the lower balljoint.
Can the rubber dust boot be changed easily in situ - without having to remove the ball joint, and if so where can a new boot be bought from?
