pump wiring

hi guys, have got a 220SDi and i am trying to fit a potentiometer/evrymod/garflead to the fuel pump the only info i can find says to bridge across pin 2 and 3 with the potentiometer.. however the pins arent numbered :( so i was just wondering if anyone could tell me 2 colour wires i need to bridge across! any help extremely appreciated.
