Rover 75 diesel clutch pedal on floor

Hi, i have rover 75 diesel 2004 connouisieur estate, yesterday as i pulled up to a junction, the car stalled and the clutch pedal was stuck on the floor, i was able to easily disengage 1st and pulled the pedal back up by hand, the car drove fine after this, its happened again once since but the car didnt stall, i had new clutch and both cylinders fitted about 6 months ago,

any ideas?
