Selling my 2002 MG ZT 2.5 V6 Auto (LPG) (10 month MoT)

All,

i have tried selling on eBay and had a rather nice winning bidder who decided not to follow through with the purchase - and also popped it on Gumtree. Woking area.

trying to sell my Green ZT Auto 2.5 V6

Looking for offers in the region of £650

It drives well. Past its MoT in December

Here's the write up:

It is LPG converted (Landi Renzo system) - with the LPG tank in the spare wheel well and has a range of 200 miles to a tank of LPG, with the addition of being able to run on unleaded.

LPG gives the fuel cost of a diesel with all the fun of a V6!! Current prices are between 53 and 65p per litre of LPG depending on where you go!

At the push of a button you can swap between using LPG or using petrol.

When you put your foot down it automatically used petrol for some extra 'bang'

Good points:

Great looking car - much nicer to look at and drive than the Rover 75 ;-)

18" alloys - the better looking MG ones

It recently passed its MoT at the beginning of December.

2 new Xenon HID burners/bulbs

New thermostat housing and inlet pipework due to a water leak before christmas.

Recent LPG service at A-Z LPG, New Malden - including new Landi Renzo LPG filter. Half a tank of LPG still

Starts and drives well

New windscreen in December for MoT

Not so good points:

The LPG system currently needs a pipe re-connecting that popped off in the engine bay - so will not operate until that is done.

I have been meaning to take it to A-Z LPG in New Malden so they can pop it back on. They have offered to do this for free - but if you are mechanically minded you will be able to find and reattach.

This popped off when I had the water leak - which caused one of the LPG components to freeze resulting in a higher LPG pressure in the pipework.

Easy fix though - but I have just not had the time (and no insurance on it due to my new car!) to take it along.

At the moment there is a bulb warning light showing which is the rear offside cluster - I think one of the wires has been trapped/split so it is shorting out. I will try and resolve that before this sells

Radio seems to not like tuning during damp weather

Intermittent ABS issue.

Previous owner just pulled the fuse out and drove it like that. It stops fine (wouldn't have past the MoT otherwise), but with the fuse in, it seems to activate the ABS partially on light braking. I have been driving it with the fuse in and just been putting up with it. Again - the car stops perfectly

Its an old car so the bodywork and alloys have their fair share of scuffs and scrapes - but what would you expect from a car of this age. No dents though.

If anyone is interested, i'm near Woking in Surrey.
