Brought the F out of hibernation yesterday in preparation for stonleigh, so went for a quick drive to the fuel station and noticed battery light came on. Managed to get home and get the voltmeter out - 11.98v across battery and at 80amp fuse in engine bay. Strange thing is let the car cool down and start up then check its 13.4v? seems to drop again after a short while - can't find any loose terminals so assume its the alternator i've also swapped batteries but no difference.

Looks like it wont be going to stonleigh :(
