Zs wont start will start wont

Hi

This morning was frosty so went out to start my zs 120, get the heater on so car would be ready for the trip home (nightshift). As soon as I turned the ignition I heard a noise from under the bonnet (I would liken it to a light bulb blowing). Turned the key again but nothing, engine wouldn't turn over, no clicking, nothing. The dash lights come on ok, there's electric power but nothing from engine. I tried for 10 minutes to start the car but nothing. After 20 minutes the car started. I drove everyone home, took 20 minutes and went to the supermarket. When I came out again nothing at all when I tried to start the engine!

I managed to bump start it and get home. Parked up, turned engine off and tried to start it , nothing no clicking doesn't want to turn over. After 1 hour I went down and tried it again and started 1st time???

Anybody got any ideas?

I have recently replaced the alternator and battery 2 weeks ago.
