Exhaust advice
Hi all,
well i went out for a spot of fishing yesterday and heard some knocking, sounded like exhaust to chassis sort of noise, 20 mins later its sounded like a tractor as the exhaust obviously had some rot banged out of it.
Not worried about it as it has been 5 or 6 years since its has one, so i thought it must be due another.
I have had the car for 10 years, its still reliable and drives great and i have no plans to get rid of it but i don't want the expense of a SS system as the moment it starts to let me down it will be off and replaced (though god knows what with).
So the question is where can i get a reasonably priced rear box for a ZTT CDTI, Rimmers is £132 plus nearly £20 quid postage, though they do state that they price match and there is one for £99 on fleabay (free postage), but just wondering if anyone had a better alternative.
I don't mind doing the work myself, its about to go up on axle stands anyway for a week or two whilst i replace all of the disks and refurbish the calipers, so not a great deal of extra work to do at the same time.
Any advice would be appreciated
