Funny Burning smell

Looking for any suggestions



Driving today when funny pungent burning smell - not oil - a bit like plastic/rubber burning - stops when the car is parked up. Definitely comes from under the bonnet -



coolant fine

Oil fine

fuse box fine

fan is OK

Clutch not slipping and seems normal



Did have a slight problem getting into first just before the smell arrived. However have ran the engine when parked up in neutral with h/brake on and the smell still came within 60 seconds -would this happen if it is the clutch?



Seems to emanate from between the injector and rocker cover but it is hard to tell with absolute certainty.
