105 to 1.8 non vvc conversion

Hi im new to this forum and would like t ask a quick question which has probably been asked a thousand times but here go's



I have a mg zr 105 and i have a spare zr 1.8 non vvc bottem end with pistons and liners.

Basically will my top end fit on this bottem end if thats how you put it.

will my gearbox fit on temporarily. i know i will need a ecu remap and my brakes are already upgraded i have been lookin for a while for some solid evidence but only find drips n drabs like (yes'no and buy anougher car) thanks again
