Newbie here my name is Mandy and im in lancashire , and im venturing into the unknown here as im an avid old skool ford fanatic , weve got 4 old escorts 2 of which are concours show cars , one is a daily and one a resto project .



But the time has come to get something abit newer for daily use , but i dont do new i dont really like new cars , BUT the one car i will have is the flip painted mg zr , so im on the hunt for a flip painted 3 door zr preferably the facelift model and its got to be mint. as i know this paint isnt cheap , i had a clio done in metal flake years ago and that was a pain if it got marked so i never left it anywhere to get marked



i attually thought all my xmas's had come at once when i saw one forsale on preloved litrally 10 minutes walk from my house , it was in i think its monogram twilight ? ive just been to look at it this morning , it had been sat for months had no mot , but i thought seeing as its local and rare i will give it a look, it was lets just say not up to my standard LOL, in my eyes it needed a repaint and a hell of alot of work , colour was absolutly stunning tho and now ive seen one its made me even more determined to find one , but im guessing its goin to take a while to find one , there is two on ebay at the mo , one doesnt look to bad but its too far to go for the one that looks good , also another sold last week on ebay so i guess they are about ?



So what are ppl's thoughts are there still mint ones out there ? that have been enthusiast owned ? cause this ine i saw this morning sure hadnt been enthusiast owned
