Im making near 300bhp on OEM k series bottom end
Not sure which section this should go in, but because its also installed in a mid engine car I thought you guys might be the ones who would like to see it.
Just thought I would let you guys know, using trophy pistons and shorter turbo rods im already making 285bhp and over 300ft of torque in my car, ive maxed the turbo out completely, ive pulled the head back off for some porting and bigger valves and with a compressor wheel change it should hopefully be around 330bhp-340bhp with the same torque, im guessing that will be the final proof of how strong the bottom end is.
Not sure if the liners are ductile, but when i pulled the head off the other day, apart from when it dropped a valve on the first day I got it(2yrs ago) before i decided to turbo it, the engine has been pretty good

current setup, before i split it all last week to send the head off

I dont know if anyone else has gone this far with OEM bottom end components so thought it would be good to share with you guys
It might be a ticking time bomb but its already survived all the mapping ive done myself on the road and a full trackday, so anyone who needs a nice bump in power, say 250bhp and doesnt want to go T series or spend a massive amount of money on a NA engine its an option for you.
