mg zr 160 exhaust cat

Hi my mg 160 was de-catted when i bought it and now the novelty of how loud it is, has started to wear off.



I am not really looking to shell out for a 160 cat as they are about £160 now as they are part of the exhaust downpipe.



Could i fit a cat from a mg f 1.8 and weld it on myself in place of the de cat as it as only £40 from euro car parts ?
