Remove rear quarter panel badges

Ok,



I've got 2 replacement badges for the rear quarter panel "flags" badges. Looking at the replacement, they are just a sticky 3M pad attached to the back.



Guessing the ones on the car are the same, so is it a case of heating them up with a hairdryer and then gently prising them off the car? White spirit to clean?



I've also got a front badge to replace which I presume is the same process?
