heater squeak!
I have a squeak coming from the back of my heater and its driving me mad!!
If I tighten the two 10mm nuts that fix the heater to the bulkhead, it goes for a short time then comes back, these nuts are quite high up, the left hand one you have to take glovebox off to get at.
Is there any part of the air vents that can be accessed from above by taking off the scuttle plastic trim piece? cos from underneath the dash on drivers side right at the top there is a box-like piece of plastic and I am pretty sure if I kick right up at it when I have the squeak with my left foot, the squeak goes for a short time.
I have also sprayed everything I can see with silicone spray as this can get rid of squeaks
No matter what I do just when I think its gone, it starts to come back!!
Also, I noticed today when I had a passenger it was bad, I asked the passenger to put their feet in differnt places on the front floor pan just to see if there was any variation, didnt make any difference.
so what else can I check, but as mentioned above is there anything under the scuttle trim.
