Saloon Seats in a Hatch

Hi all,



I bought a ZS off a fellow .ORG member back in November.



It came with beige leather seats which I believe came from a 45. They were really comfy but my Mrs didn't like them as they didn't give enough support in the corners - particularly bad as there are many roundabouts here in Milton Keynes!



Anyway, I sourced a half-leather set of Axis seats for £80 delivered off eBay. The seats arrived and are in great nic. I've swapped the front seats and the rear back but discovered that the bench didn't fit.



The "new" seats came from a ZS saloon which I didn't appreciate at the time would cause me this issue.



My question is - can I somehow fix the saloon rear bench material to the metal plate from my old hatch seat? Is there a guide on this as I haven't been able to find it.
