Temp gauge drops to 0

If I put my foot down once the F has reached normal running temp it immediately drops to 0. If it's been at normal temp for 10 minutes plus it doesn't do it, temp is constant.

Anything to worry about?

I'm not losing coolant, the heater doesn't go cool, the car runs normally.
