Horn sounding randomly

Just acquired a very nice 2005/6 MG TF and really enjoying it, but have an annoying problem.

When the car is parked and unattended, every now and then (maybe hours apart) the horn will sound a single blast. There doesn't seem to be any alarm activation going on and the car is starting and driving perfectly otherwise.

Any ideas what might be causing it ?
