MGZR Air Con - Compressor problem?

What was the last time you used your A/C? If air conditioning is not used regularly thruogh the year, seals within compressor loose its elasticity and deteriorate, thus allow leak of gas out.

When I retrofitted mine A/C, some 11 years back, I took all second hand elements for it, including radiator, fan, pipes, valves, evaporator, wiring, switches and compressor. Everything worked well except that gas could not stand in longer then a month. Within same price I actually changed three (3) second hand compressors, and each time leak was somewhere around compressor. Finaly I decided that I will take completely new compressor and that solved the problem. This new compressor is inside my car still today.

I re-gassed my system few years back as it needed doing so, so today I still have freezing cold A/C which I need to switch off as passengers are too cold and outside temperature is around 29 degrees Celsius or higher.
