V6 inlet manifold leak symptoms

Hi,
Just a quick question. What symptoms would you expect to see if the seals between the black plastic manifold and the metal lower manifolds don't seal properly? I've had the black manifold off a couple times but never replaced the seals and the last time I thought the black seals were pretty flat. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!
