hey guys,

I recently got my rover 45 automatic gearbox (repaired) - it was making a really bad whirring sound so i got a bearing replaced - the sound is now gone - but the car shudders when in drive

the guy in the garage says the stepper motor has now gone - tho it wasn't making the same shuddering before it went to the garage - it just wants to rive away even with foot on brake

not sure what to do with it now - it's another £300 to get the stepper motor replaced

any ideas on maybe something the guy at the garage has done?
or is this quite a common thing for both parts to go around the same time?
