I am thinking of fitting a big rear brake disc kit to my TF, (it already has the 304mm front discs). The kit that caught my eye does not use disc retaining screws. I know that the wheel holds the disc onto the hub anyway but I am uneasy with that as a long term measure. I am assured by the supplier that the disc in question (a Ford one) des not use them as it locates on the wheel studs and that disc retaining screws are a leftover from the drum brake days.
I was just interested on what the views of the forum members are on the subject?
