MG TF alarm issues

Hi all,
I am having a spot of bother with a Pektron 2003 system but doesn't seem to be a common fault for a relay?!?
The problem is constant whenever the car is locked via the key fob(s), all central locking works (locking and unlocking via fob), lights flash once and then followed by 3 more flashes but then the issue arises. The car is alarming (i'm guessing but there is no sound to accompany it) with the indicators activating constantly. the problem doesn't occur when locked by the key instead.
All fuses have been checked (f23 and fuse under bonnet). volumetric sounder has been replaced and even just left unplugged to test
any help will be greatly appreciated
