Adding a volumetric alarm sensor ??

Just a thought, but as I was installing some roll hoops recently, when I had the T-bar off I noticed that the loom that fed my rear speaker box also had a black plug that was not connected to anything.......as it bugged me as to what it was for, I started digging a bit. Now, I'm not 100% sure but it seems that the volumetric alarm sensor lives there and my 2001 F does not have one..........

I was wondering if anyone had just added one without having to do anything else - if I got one from a scrapyard, could I just plug it in and go? - my alarm is the Lucas style and not the later Pektron fob.

Thoughts and input appreciated.
