The cars got tractor syndrome with the error P1222. I used it a couple of times for the school run. !0 mins each way till the the top hose blew. Put another hose on and thought ok till heater cold and steam coming out of the expansion tank. Very high water pressure when removing the cap, even when cold after running it.
No difference with new cap. Never had probs with airlocks on it before so was wondering if the rough running can take out the head gasket? Also noticed max revs is now 3900. Is this normal with P1222?
