Well, after owning my 04 plate MG ZS+ since May I was a little apprehensive of its first MOT under my ownership (understatement of the year)! Stuck four new wellies on it in prep as the ones already on were not so hot!

Failed on first inspection due to a split passenger side suspension coil, however, as I'd booked it in with Dave and Kayleigh at MG Rover mobile Mechanics they were on hand to effect a repair and it passed later that day with only several minor advisories (massive thanks guys, and also to Sam for sorting).

Took the opportunity to have the underside Waxoyled for rust protection at the same time.

So!.....I can at least breathe easy for another year......phew!

Gotta say, it's now driving like a dream with the new tyres, tyre alignment and replaced suspension coil!! No vibration at higher speeds anymore (!) and which I am guessing would have been due to a combination of the busted coil and shot wheel alignment (just call me Sherlock!)
