Mike satur air duct kit

The purpose of this post is just to forewarn any TF owners thinking of buying a Mike Satur Air Duct Kit.

My TF was in the bodyshop to have the front bumper replaced and I thought this would be a good opportunity to get the air duct fitted.

It is listed on his website under MGF/TF Performance & Tuning so I assumed that it simply bolts on after removing the bumper (particularly as the description says ‘easily fitted in around an hour’).

But it doesn’t - well it does just bolt on but then the bumper will not fit as the air duct sticks out too far.

The response from Mike Satur is that the air duct was designed for the F but needs to be trimmed to fit the TF.

In the end it was made to fit but wouldn’t have been an easy fit for me to have done on my drive and I am sure it would have taken longer than an hour. And it would be helpful if the description on the website could include the requirements to fit the air duct to a TF.

Interested to hear of any others that have fitted this to a TF.
