SPAX on lowered springs
SPAX on lowered springs
I have this setup on my MG. There are instances - hard cornering on a track day or where the road suddenly drops away on the bypass near us and the rear suspension sinks quite low - where the front inner of the rear tyres catch on the inner wing. There is a mark were the waxoil has been rubbed off. This doesnt happen often and only for a split second is the tyre in contact with the wing (you can hear it). I guess I have a couple of options (other than reverting to standard springs) - redesign the inner wing with some heat and a hammer or I wondered about some spacers on the rear wheels. If I fitted say 3mm spacers on the rear would that affect the tracking?
