Another One!
Hi All!
Been reading through these forums for a few months now - to introduce myself - I have close family who have owned 3 Rover 75's (and one who still has one and raves about it - 45,000 miles - CDTi XPart Remapped Tourer in moonstone green) and have been in all of them and have been very impressed. One made it to 203,000 miles before being sold - in good working order - and later being scrapped - weirdest thing happened after selling it: took a wrong turn whilst driving around town, ended up on an industrial estate, only to see a Rover 75 with roof bars that looked strikingly familiar, it was the car! Meant to be! Only 3-4 months after selling it! Looking inside, the steering wheel was torn to pieces (can only assume for the airbag - spares), the centre console had gone and the wheels were removed and thrown on to the back seats - a sad sight.
Being under the age of 20 myself, I decided I am too old for one! Am currently reconsidering.
I have a mk2 Seat Leon which I like, it has it's pros and cons (as covered in my first post!), but I know it will start every morning! If I had the money I'd have a Rover 75 as a second car for the longer weekend trips, but considering replacing the Leon with one... I work hard right?!!
All tips, tricks and advice would be very much appreciated.
Louis
